Editorial policy

This page describes how 369om decides what to publish and how we handle the things we are not sure about.

Sourcing

Every factual claim in a story traces to a named source: an official artist channel, a streaming service API, MusicBrainz, Wikidata, or a named publication. Claims we cannot trace do not run. Where reporting is thin, we say so in the story rather than filling the gap.

AI assistance

We use AI tooling to gather and draft. Every piece is checked against its sources by a separate review step before it publishes, and a share of published stories is re-read by a person. Responsibility for what appears here is ours, not a model's.

What we will not do

• Publish leaked or unreleased music, or link to it.
• Reproduce song lyrics beyond a short quoted phrase.
• Make claims about a named living person that we cannot source.
• Run a headline the story does not deliver on.
• Present a rewritten press release as original reporting.

Independence

Advertising is served programmatically and has no influence on what we cover. We do not accept payment for coverage. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
